Book #14 - Hot off the Presses!

This has been a long time coming and discussed in my interview with Salt River Current.

I have been running with the idea of translating the idioms I grew up with - and tend to blurt out habitually - into English and putting them into one literary piece. Well, "literary piece" is a fancy way to describe a book someone would keep on a coffee table for fun and giggles.

I have seen those books before and bought a few myself: not much content, heavy imagery, silly phrases or quotes, pseudo-philosophical sayings... "Reason # 100500 why a cat is better than a man: A cat won't judge you for eating the third slice of chocolate cake" accompanied by a funny drawing of a cat and a chocolate cake. Those are not thought-provoking books but they lighten up the mood and make someone smile, maybe for the first time this week, who knows.

And so I started collecting the idioms, one after another. It took several months to collect enough to put them on the pages - and I doubt that this is everything but it gives a nice start.

Today, I got an e-mail that it is live on Amazon.
