My Peoples Like to Say...

About

I come from Ukraine.
I was born in USSR and witnessed its downfall before I was a teenager.
I grew up with the language that is hard-to-impossible to speak and even harder to understand.
That language includes idioms and folk sayings.
Whenever I talk to my American counterparts, I inevitably think of an idiom - or five - and may blurt it out in my home language. Then I realize that no one understands what I just said and try to remedy the situation by translating or interpreting it. The results can be from eye-popping to hilarious.
This is the collection of things I blurt out... translated into English, of course.
