Symbolon Deck

The Ultimate Guide: Black and White Edition

About

I first met Symbolon in 2018: an astrologer posted a simple weekly spread on Instagram but the cards were what I have never seen before. They were not Tarot cards, and it took some time for me to get brave enough to ask what they were.

I purchased my first deck and started simply looking at the cards’ images, noting the color schemes, the overall atmosphere on the pictures, the people, and the feelings I has when looking at each card.

I started researching and found that there is no book about how to interpret Symbolon. With tons of books on how to read Tarot, this was strange: is no one else using the deck?..

In 2021, that same astrologer that introduced me to the deck started a course teaching Symbolon. I decided that this was my sign, enrolled in the course, and never regretted it.

The information was clear, precise, and to the point.

But not in English.

… and still no book to refer to.

Most people I showed my deck to bought my readings, some because I may have sounded convincing, others did it out of curiosity. Some querents asked me where I learned to read it and if they could learn it, too. I honestly answered that there is no text that I could recommend, not because I am afraid of competition but because such text does not exist, and that the courses I took are not in English, so I cannot recommend those, either.

That is when the thought of creating a text for others to use with the deck first popped up in my head.

One day, I looked over the lectures again, skimmed through my notes, and realized that I now had enough information and experience, it just needed to be structured and put into a text that can be used by someone who may have never held a Symbolon deck in their hands before. So I started writing and ended up with what my reader is now holding.
